Our experience has been great and I would give Geotek my highest recommendation.

Why? First, Tina is fantastic. She listened to what we wanted (which changed as we went through the process and learned) and had lots of excellent suggestions. Some of the best design features of our bathrooms came from Tina. She took us to tile places (like Conestoga), cabinet places (Mid-South), countertop places (various), fixtures, tubs, toilets (Ferguson). Tina steered us toward choices that were more appropriate for hall bath versus master bath (from a cost viewpoint), guided us how to not over decorate (most important) and focused us on resale issues as we went along. Ultimately we made all the choices but Tina’s input was key.

Second, the crews that we had were reliable, punctual, respectful, took care to protect our house throughout, and most importantly produced high quality professional results in all of our projects. I paid attention to what they were doing and the more they worked the more they earned my trust. Good guys.

Third, Geotek gives you a la carte pricing. Unlike the strip mall bath and kitchen businesses (we visited several before we got to Geotek), Geotek gives you a price to do various tasks (such as install cabinets, install sinks, install . . .). All materials are billed separately. In contrast, the strip mall guys just gave us one total price which was hard to determine if you’re getting a fair deal. Geotek’s pricing is transparent - they quote labor costs for each task and you choose materials from each supplier (which can be higher or lower costs depending on what you select). You’re in control. Geotek buys the materials (giving you the benefit of discounts) and bills you as you go along. Worked well for us and I think Tina treated us fairly.

We’ve learned a lot about bathroom remodels and we’re starting to figure out what we need/want for a kitchen remodel. We will hire Geotek when that time comes.

Would I do anything differently? Yes. I would not have wasted my time with the strip mall remodelers.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. The quality of the work is great, Travis and his crew are very professional and so easy to work with, the communication was great throughout the project and the price for the work was significantly cheaper than a number of other quotes I got. I'm remodeling my master bath myself and was going to do the drywall myself but due to a time constraint I needed to hire someone. I've been reluctant to hire contractors in the past because of poor work or insane prices. After reading the great reviews and the estimate price I went with Geotek and am happy I did. My bath had a couple of tricky parts that I was worried would cause the drywall to not be completely flush in places but they handled it with no problem and it looks great. With so many contractors to choose from I know it can be tough to narrow down the field but do yourself a favor and call Geotek.
